NanoTech Poland

Today, the international conference of NanoTech Poland 2018 (http://nanotechpoland.amu.edu.pl/), organized by the NanoBioMedical Centre at AMU, began at our Faculty of Physics. The conference is attended by about 240 participants who will present their results in the form of over 70 oral speeches and almost 100 poster presentations. Plenary lectures will be delivered by renowned scientists from the USA, England, Italy and Denmark. The subject of the conference is related to broadly understood nanotechnology, from research of advanced materials used in energy processing, electronics, catalysis and sensors, to the use of nanomaterials in biology and medicine. An interesting element of the conference is the so-called a forum for young researchers, during which people at the initial stage of their academic career (mainly PhD students) have the opportunity to present their research results in the form of short oral presentations.
